Hi wonder if anyone can help me, My father is William Robert Cree and his father was William Lee Cree , son of Henry Cree and Hannah Jane McQuoid.
William Lee Cree died 8 November 1958 he was Married to Margaret ( was Andrews).
Iam trying to get a photo of William Lee Cree , as my father does not have one . We have found photos of his mum and siblings Alexander(Andy) , Elizabeth ( Betty) Madeline and Jane Georgie( Georgie) and even Henry and Hannah! but none of his dad.
Henry and Hannah had quite a few children , who were siblings to William Lee Cree and wondered if any of these might have a photo of my dads dad.
It would be wonderful if I could get as we have never seen him and my dad is 80 in August and would make the best present ever.
Hope someone can help
Kath Sutton ( was Cree)

I may be wrong but I think that the source of my birth, marriage and death information given here was abstracted by hand by Mike (Spathaky) who passed that information on to myself. Thanks again to Mike.
William Thomas Cree B: 7 Jan 1907, M: 7 Aug 1933, D: 5 May 1990
The Death information that we have is that William Thomas Cree died 5 May 1990 and was born on the 1 June 1907 and not the 7 June 1907. However our information may possibly be a transcription error? The Birth information states that he was born on the 7 June 1907 and that his mother's maiden name was McDonald.

Dorothy,
The Northern Island death registers provide the following information relating the the death of William Lee Cree in 1958:
Cree, William Lee, died 8 November 1958, registered in Belfast, age 51 years.
There was a William Thomas Cree who died on the 5 May 1990 registered in North Down, born 1 June 1907. I can find no William Lee Cree death in 1990 or similar period.
William Lee Cree married Margaret Andrews on the 5 July 1934 at St Martins, Church of Ireland, Belfast.
In the 1911 Ireland census we would be looking for a William (Lee) Cree who was between approximately 2 - 6 years old, ideally 3 - 5 years old. There are a total of 14 entries for William in the 1911 census and only three fit this 2 - 6 years age range, William (4 yrs), William (3 yrs) and William Thomas (4 yrs).
The first William Cree seems to fit since within the household are Henry Cree (39 yrs), Hannah Jane (37 yrs), Robert H (18 yrs), Henry J (16 yrs), Margerita (12 yrs), Walter O M (10 yrs), Reubon O F (8 yrs), Clelland (6 yrs), William (4 yrs) and Helen A (2 yrs). They are all stated to be the children of Henry and Hannah and not nephews or neices etc. They were Church of Ireland and Henry was a bricklayer.

You may have this information already,
Regards,
Trevor.
Dear Kath
I have taken from this site a date of May 1990 as the death date of William Lee Cree. Do you have a death certicicate to verify your date of 1958 as it is many years different. This is my line as Hannah Jane McQuoid and Henry Cree are my Great Uncle and Aunt, and Henry's parents Hugh Cree and Eliza Majorie are my G Grandparents.
