From what I can make out my Cree family are English, my 2x Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Cree born around 1841, I have not verified her place of birth but I know her Father Henry Cree was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Elizabeth married Thomas Bates and he was from Wolsingham near Durham, anyone have any links to this branch or can help with my Cree ancestry it would be a greatfully received,
