Martha Cree was a gt-gt-granddaughter of Francis and Eliabeth Cree who were married in about 1727.
James Cree who we now think was NOT the father of John and James Cree of Bolsover was a grandson of James Cree who was a brother of the above Francis.
So Martha's line branched from James's line several generations before the alleged "non-paternal event."
Male-line Cree descendants of close relatives of Martha Cree should therefore show a match to the person shown in the yDNA charts who was NOT the one who had Humphreys matches (provided there were no further NPAs!)
