I am not THE admin of this Cree Family History Network website. That's Trevor Cree, but I do have admin access as a backup to Trevor. He and I have been collaborating over Cree family history since about 1989.
I am the compiler of the Cree Surname One-Name Study website at www.cree.name where we are trying to record and organise all the data that we collect on a world-wide basis. I am also a member of the Guild of One-Name Studies www.one-name.org which promotes one-name studies on a world-wide basis.
I would be interested to know how you relate to the most recent membes of the Forteviot line of Crees and which of your Cree ancestors migrated to Australia. If you haven't seen it already, you may find the chart at http://cree.one-name.net/genealogies/cree-o/forteviot_branch.htm useful.
Hi Edwin, Welcome to the Cree Family History Network. Although I live in the UK much of the time, I also spend time in Toongabbie NSW. I'll be there from about 2 March for the rest of 2019. Perhaps we could meet up as it's so near to Beaumont Hills? I would be interested to which Cree line (or branch) you belong to and how far back you have researched your Cree ancestry.
