Perhaps you have already found out or been informed about the following information but it would appear that your family is part of the Forteviot Cree who can be traced back to the 1600s around Tibbermore and Forteviot, close to Perth.
It is certainly a very interesting history. You simply have to find Helen Wren then click on her husband's link, his father and his father and that will take you back through the generations.
