Lynda,

The only information that I can find is as follows:

https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/37407/page/56/data.pdf

Miss Irene Mabel Napier CREE, Lady Director of the King George and Queen Elizabeth Officers' Club, Edinburgh, under the auspices of the Empire Societies' War Hospitality Committee.

Trevor,

I have read the Cree Families of Fife and Devon - white copy- is there an updated copy please? My interest is Irene Mabel Napier Cree and her father and grandfather, both James Cree. Is there any way to contact Carolyn Cree wife of (Hugh)Charles Malcolm Napier Cree ( deceased ) of Austin USA please?

Thank you.

Lynda Robertson

Lynda,

Unfortunately I do not have any more information on this family. You could perhaps try White Pages:

http://www.whitepages.com/name/Carolyn-Cree/Texas

CREE, Charles Malcolm Napier, 77, retired software architect, of Austin died Sunday. Survived by wife Carolyn. Services 2 p.m. Friday, St. Luke's on the Lake. Arrangements by Cook-Walden/Chapel of the Hills.

The latest information on the Cree Families of Fife and Devon would be best obtained from Mike (mike@cree.name)

Sorry not to be able to help more,

Regards,

Trevor.

Trevor,
Thank you for your reply.

Lynda

Lynda,

You probably know this already but in the 1901 Scotland Census, Irene Mabel Napier Cree (7 yrs), Jim Fleming Cree (6 yrs) and Charles Mortimer Cree (3 yrs) are lodging in Crieff, Scotland, with Thomas Arklie, his wife and children. Thomas is described as a Cashier to a Limited Company. In 1922 Thomas Arklie sailed for a meeting in Canada related to the company Lewis Miller & Co. Ltd., of Crieff, of which he was the Secretary.

I assume that Charles Mortimer Cree was the father of Charles Malcolm Napier Cree,

Trevor.

Lynda,

A very full obituary of Charles M N Cree

http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/statesman/obituary.aspx?page=lifes...

Those left to cherish Charlie's memory are his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Carolyn Elizabeth; children, Charles Graeme, John David, and Carole Dianne; and three grandchildren.
