This is my great grandmother, Viola Goosman. She was born in Lawrence Twp., Washington Co., OH, on March 4, 1883. Her parents were James Marion Goosman and Mary Ann Barrett. Her grandparents were Abner Barrett and Mary Ann Winland. Her great grandparents were Isaac Barrett and Margaret Cree. Her mother, Mary Ann, died when she was four years old. She married Owen Thomas Wells.They lived in Northfield, Ohio and had six children, Homer, who died as and infant, Howard Cameron, Bernard Lyle, Ethel Mae, Gladys Elberta and Dorothy Eileen. Her husband Owen Thomas died in 1953, she lived with her daughter Dorothy until her death March 11, 1974.
